Beautiful 🙏 The fact is that Jesus was never lost, He was at home with God. I believe this is where Mary and Joseph come to realize that He is only lost to them, that God is and will always be His Father. IMHO

At church in Sydney, Rev. Mark Wormell speculated that St Luke might have heard this story from the Mother of Our Lord herself—since Jesus was only twelve, no disciples can have been present, and so on.
In any case, as you show, there is a lot more to the account of Jesus lost and found in the Temple than a simple reading suggests.
