I caught your sermon on All Saints Margaret Street YouTube channel and thought it outstanding. I went on to read your several substack posts and also found them outstanding. I had always wondered about the liturgy used by anglo-catholics in England until I read The King's Letter, so thank you.
You speak to my soul, Father. We're only taking first steps on the Canterbury trail, but to be refreshed by preaching such as this is, I think God might say, "meat in mine house". The Lord of Heaven and Earth bless you.
I’ve always been perplexed by people who in some way “cheat” at their Lenten abstinence, whatever for it takes. If you believe in God, then it’s surely one of the foundations of His existence that, well, He knows. It’s not like fooling an inattentive teacher or suspicious parent.
One of the best meditations on the temptations of Christ I have read.
You are most kind. Thank you!
